Polyacetal (POM)

Polyacetal (POM) is characterized by excellent dimensional stability, low water absorption and very good sliding properties. It offers high mechanical strength, elastic recovery, impact resistance (even at low temperatures) and excellent machinability. Due to its physiological inertness, it is approved for food contact.

Used in gears, bearings, valve seats, snap-fit elements and precision mechanical parts.

Available grades include POM C (better chemical resistance) and POM H (higher strength and wear resistance).
